Hampiðjan and CEO Hjörtur Erlendsson yesterday received the business award from trade publications Frjáls Verslun and Viðskiptablaðið, and this is the most prestigious award of its kind to be presented in Iceland, awarded at the end of each year.
The award was presented by minister of finance Bjarni Benediktsson and editor Trausti Hafliðason at a magnificent event held in Hotel Borg’s packed Golden Hall.
Frjáls Verslun’s New Year issue was also published alongside the event, with a strong focus on Hampiðjan and including an in-depth interview with Hjörtur Erlendsson.
At Hampiðjan we very much appreciate this honour, and are proud and delighted to accept this award.
