Through scientific research and constant focus on product development together with our clients we create the future.

Our own highly skilled engineers and design team continuously generate ideas for improvements and new designs, but often the ideas come from the fishermen themselves, through our close and valuable contact directly to the ship on the fishing grounds.

The ideas are then being tested on computer simulators, following by scale testing in our local flume tank at the North Sea Centre in Hirtshals.

Another new angle to our comprehensive R&D programme is our group’s latest contribution towards an investment of highly sophisticated undersea filming equipment, which enables us to study both active and passive gear.

Final test is done by skilled fishing masters at sea, when fishermen using our nets haul big bags of fish in trouble free fishing.
